Through advocacy, awareness, and resources, Family Literacy in Canada champions family literacy, it’s programming and supports, as the foundation of well-being in Canada, returning power to families as the most effective agent for positive social change.

What is Family Literacy?

Family Literacy is learning together as a family. Each family defines who is part of their family unit. Family Literacy strengthens the bonds of a family unit and enhances the skills of each members of the family. Family literacy happens in everyday life.
